Ever wondered how big your surround sound system should be? It is a very hard choice, because if you pick the wrong size, or wattage, then your sound will not be that good.
So how big should it be? Well, that all depends on your own preference. If you just need a simple system, with ok sound, and almost no bass, just go to your local Wal*Mart or Target and get a bargain system for about $30.00 to $40.00. If you are like me, and don't want to spend a ton of money, but still want amazing sound, I recomend going out and buying a 400-600 watt system for maybe $100.00 to $150.00, or maybe more. Now, if you have a huge budget, then go out and and buy a nice 1,000 or more watt system, those can be found at most major retail stores that sell surround sound systems, and they can be bought for as little as $150.00 and up to over $400.00 depending on the size of the system. If you want the best sound, then buy a Bose home theater system, because they give the best sound, and take up the least space.
Before you buy your home theater system, keep in mind that you get what you pay for, and remember that! If you buy cheap, you normally get cheap, and if you spend a lot, you normally get a lot.
Most surround sound systems are in the home theater system box, and normally come with a DVD player. The DVD player is also a big part, but if you spend a lot, then the DVD player should be fine, but keep in mind that the sound could be awesome, but still have a horrible image... I recomend spending at least $100.00, but not over $300.00. Thanks for reading!
