Bad Games vs Games You Don't Like

More often than not I see people saying "This game sucks!" or "Wow this game is really bad!". If you say something along those lines, you are more than likely wrong! Here's why..

Much like music and movies, games have many genre's. There's shooters, puzzle, platformers, RPG's and many more. With all of these different genre's comes many different tastes. For me, I love RPG's and shooters. Not a huge fan of puzzle or platform games. However, that does NOT mean puzzle games or platformers are bad. It's all about your personal preference. I've heard many people say "Minecraft sucks" or "Call of Duty is terrible!" or "World of Warcraft is crap!" But really, are they crap? Just because one person doesn't like a specific game doesn't mean it's bad. And you're a moron if you call a game bad based on it's genre.

How about truly bad games. While those do indeed exist, before you call it bad you need to know for sure. A bad game is a game that is literally broken. Things don't work right, there's misspellings all over, or the game simply cannot be played. Those are bad games. Just because the game is hard doesn't mean it's bad, either. So you can't complete  game because of the hard levels.. Did you ever think you maybe suck? It's sure a possibility!

So please, for the sake of smart peoples sanity.. Stop calling a good game "bad"! Instead say you don't care for that type of game!
